Projexo Caisse

A team at ease from the very first sales.

Training takes place on your configuration, with your products, your services and your real situations.

The situations

Eight situations, done and done again

Choose one: these are the ones the team will meet from day one.

Opening the till

The first action of the day: switch on, log in with your own account, check that the printer and the terminal respond.

What you learnSpotting straight away that a peripheral is not responding, rather than with the first customer

Recording a sale

The most repeated action of the day. We do it again until it no longer requires attention: that is where time is saved, nowhere else.

What you learnThe shortest path, on your own catalogue

Changing an order in progress

A customer changes their mind, a line is removed, a table moves. It is frequent, and it is what most often gets stuck when it has never been done.

What you learnCorrecting without cancelling the whole order

Applying an authorised discount

Who is allowed to give one, up to what amount, and how it appears on the receipt and in the reports.

What you learnThe limits decided with you, enforced by the system

Processing a return or a credit note

The item comes back: it must also come back into stock, and the refund must come out right.

What you learnAn operation in the software, not a manual workaround

Take payment

Cash, card, split payment. The amount goes to the terminal without being retyped — but you still need to know the action.

What you learnThe payment methods actually enabled on your premises

Closing the day

The end-of-service reconciliation, what to check, and what to do when a discrepancy appears.

What you learnReading the discrepancy rather than suffering it

Handling a common problem

The printer prints nothing, the terminal does not respond, the screen freezes. Three checks to make before calling — and when to call.

What you learnTelling apart what is solved on site from what is a matter for support

The situations are adapted to your trade and your configuration: a table to reopen in a restaurant, an item return in a shop, an appointment to move in a salon.

How a session works

You learn by doing, not by listening

Training where nobody touches the till is useless: the order below is not negotiable.

  1. Discover

A tour of the workstation and the screen, on your configuration. Ten minutes, not an hour.

What comes out of itEveryone knows where things are

  2. Handle

Everyone takes the till in turn. This is the heart of the session.

What comes out of itThe action is done, not watched

  3. Make mistakes safely

We provoke the frequent errors while they cost nothing.

What comes out of itThe error stops being a blocker

  4. Repeat

The frequent actions, until they no longer require attention.

What comes out of itThe habit sets in

  5. Check what has been learnt

A complete run-through, unaided: sale, change, payment, closing.

What comes out of itWhatever remains unclear is gone over again

  6. Keep a reference

The written materials stay on site, yours, for newcomers.

What comes out of itA memo to consult after we have left

Three profiles

Not everyone needs to learn the same thing

Training everyone in everything wastes everyone's time: groups are formed by role.

The counter team

Those who use the till all day long. They do not need everything: they need the frequent actions to have become automatic.

  • Opening the till and logging in
  • Recording, changing, taking payment
  • Return and credit note
  • Closing the day
  • The three checks before calling

The site manager

They use the till like everyone else, and they also have control over what commits the business: discounts, cancellations, reading the figures.

  • Everything the team does
  • Discounts and cancellations
  • Reading the day's reports
  • Managing till discrepancies
  • First-level troubleshooting for the team

The administrator

The person who evolves the configuration: the menu changes, a colleague joins, a price moves. Without them, you have to call us for every change.

  • Changing the menu, the catalogue or the services
  • Creating an account and setting its rights
  • Adjusting prices and taxes
  • Reading reports over a period
  • Knowing what is our responsibility and what is yours

Before / after

What a team trained together changes

Same software, same configuration: what changes is the habits.

On arrival

  • Everyone learnt on the job, in their own way
  • Actions differ from one person to the next
  • An error blocks the till until someone knows what to do
  • A stand-in is lost on their first day
  • Useful functions remain unknown and unused

On leaving

  • The team has handled the real configuration
  • The frequent actions are the same for everyone
  • Common errors have been provoked and corrected
  • The written materials stay on site for newcomers
  • Each profile knows what falls to them

These states describe a trained team, not a measured performance: we announce no quantified time saving until it has been recorded at a client's and authorised by them.

Who does what

Training also takes preparation

A successful session owes much to what was done beforehand: and not only by us.

You

What you provide or approve

  • The team's availability, together and off service
  • The choice of people according to their role
  • Sign-off on the rights decided for each person
  • A place where people can practise without being interrupted
  • The appointment of an internal administrator

Projexo

What we carry out

  • The session on your actual configuration
  • The situations drawn from your daily work
  • Groups formed by role
  • Questions dealt with on site
  • Written materials left on site

Publisher or third party

What does not depend on us

  • Software updates, which may change a screen
  • The functions available depending on the plan subscribed

Training new staff after go-live is the subject of an additional session, which can be ordered at any time and is costed separately.

Prices

What is billed

A service separate from the installation: it can be ordered with it, or later.

Additional sessions and training in advanced management functions can be ordered at any time and are costed separately.

What you are left with

What stays on site after the session

Training that leaves nothing behind has to be redone: this one leaves what is needed to pick it up again.

Memo of common actions

One page per situation, with screenshots of your own screen.

Three-checks sheet

What to look at before calling, to display near the till.

Closing procedure

The end-of-day sequence, as it was set up on your premises.

Rights by profile sheet

Who can do what, and who to call when it is not allowed.

Support contacts and procedure

Who to reach, how, and what to have to hand.

These materials are drawn up on your actual configuration: they can therefore only be used on your premises, and they belong to you.

Let us turn the configuration into simple habits for the team.

A session on your till, with your products and your situations. The team gets hands-on, makes mistakes safely, and keeps something to remember by.

Your quote, itemised line by line.

An audit of your workflows, then a quote detailing every item and a rollout schedule set with you.
